Swimming Coaches East Region Conference 2020

Off the back of two successful events in 2019, Swim England East Region are proud to introduce their flagship coach development event for 2020. This is event is open to coaches from both inside and outside the region. There will be five high quality speakers across the day from both inside and outside the swimming world. We will be covering a whole range of subjects including; aspects of British Swimming’s OADF framework; creativity in coaching; looking beyond the obvious when looking for talent; the changing face of coach education in England; taking swimmers from good to great; the differences between coaching at a meet and within the training environment as well as lots more!
Swim England Cambridgeshire are offering one paid place to every club. Clubs should book their place on this course and claim the fee back when their booking is confirmed. Book you place.
Swim England Sport Science and Sport Medicine Conference 2020

About this event
The annual Swim England Sport Science and Sport Medicine Conference returns in 2020, with expert speakers offering insight into what attributes are needed to develop athletes for progression along the talent pathway.
The conference is aimed at Sports Science and Sports Medicine coaches as well as level 2 and 3 coaches.
It will focus on the practical ways to implement the Optimal Athlete Development Framework into a club.
The Framework identifies the skills, characteristics and behaviours required by athletes to be successful at major competitions, including the Olympic/Paralympic Games and World Championships.
The cost of attending is £40.00. Swim England Cambridgeshire are offering to pay for up to 12 spaces.
On receipt of confirmation of your booking clubs will be reimbursed by the County.
